of remote Western Tibet contain stunning artistic treasures. This is a trek
to visit these caves, many of which have only recently been described.
Our 2011 tour was abruptly cancelled as the Chinese Government closed Tibet to all foreign visitors five days before we were due to enter the country. At this moment (01aug11) we have no definite date for running this tour again... but would certainly like to! Please ask.

Lhasa
his is a tour for independent travellers who wish to visit
Lhasa. Commencing in Kathmandu the roads snakes up through a narrow gorge to
the high expanse of the 'Roof of the World.' Visit Shigatse and Gyantse before
arriving at Lhasa for a three day visit before flying back to Kathmandu.
