Scattered throughout India are 'Weaver Service Centres'. This one in Hyderabad offers new patterns, weaving techiques and suggestions for dyeing to the many thousand of weavers who live in Andraha Pradesh. This is where we start our exploration of the glorious textiles of the region. A visit here enables everyone to develop a feel for the complex craft of weaving.
