Turquoise style, how to fashion your hair, Tibet.

Tibetans have black hair and wear it long in plaits, both men and women. They lengthen the braids with strands of red cotton winding it onto the crown in a variety of styles which suggest your origins.
Turquoise and coral are particularly favoured as embellishments, sometimes plaited directly into the hair or sewn to felt carapaces covering most of the head. Add to that glass beads, and you can make a distinctive statement that says a lot about the swashbuckling nature of the Tibetan nomad.
The Tibetan nomads....look like bandits with their swords tucked into their belts, their long unkempt hair, and their heavy wool and leather garments. Unsubmissive and restless, they are free masters of the vast silences on the roof of the world. They are the only people I envy: they are unfettered, serene in their inborn essential simplicity, ignorant of illusory architectures which time wears down and blows away like dust before the wind. As they wander throughout those immense spaces they seem to be suspended between heaven and earth.
