yaks grazing: Tsum region
Yaks remain my all-time favourite animal. Despite their great bulk, they are docile and friendly. Life for people in Tibet and the high Himalaya would be much harder without the labour of Bos grunniens, the 'grunting-cow'. These animals, loaded with wool, are grazing in the Tsum region behind Mt Ganesh. These and other magical sights are part of our Manaslu trek.
