Mustang region almost anywhere!

It does not matter what the campsite, the kids come to observe. They are polite and as you would expect in a remote Buddhist region, they don't steal. If you take a ball, a book with pictures or photos of your family, house or pets you will inspire an enthusiastic response.

 

On our trek to Mustang in July 2003 we camp near many villages and in some houses. There are plenty of opportunities to meet with the locals!
