Campsite near Lo Manthang

campsite: Lo Manthang, Mustang
Ryangbyung: Mustang

Five minutes walk from the walled town of Lo is a campsite in grass. We stay here because it is quiet and removed from the dust of the 'big city'. You can see the Sherpas just setting up the sleeping tents, while to the right, the blue cook-tent is already in action. During our Mustang trek we spend three nights here. It gives time to explore the town and the villages towards the Tibetan border. You are not allowed to do the latter unless you are spending more than twelve days in the 'restricted zone'... we are spending fifteen.
