In April 2004, I said of this musical group: They are amongst the best spontaneous musicians I have ever heard. Another example of the magic which is South India!. They are still great! This year I discovered that the young guy playing the ghatam, or tuned clay pot, is totally blind.

Most nights they play at the hotel beneath this magnified image of Lord Shiva. This is Shiva of the 'Cosmic Dance'. His matted dreadlocks fly out in invitation to join the life of India.
